own still genuinely loves toya but its not in the same way toya loves him,, part of him deep down wants to change his ways for toyas sake but he knows he never will

but by finally trying to change he accidentally hurts toya in some type of way like toya listening to a certain song by own that was supposed to be a symbol of change but it hits toya really hardly and he starts struggling himself

then like own is unsure of what to do because whenever they do try fixing themself it only worsens toya in some way and part of him hates knowing that he's the reason behind it
