I ended up doing some clever needle sculpting to widen her stance and bring her arms closer together. I then needle felted some poly fill to shape her body and tail :) I love this project, I'm having so much fun

Clown bug thing
no one should trust me in the target toy section, i will spend *at least* $20 on toy blind boxes to feed the brain worms
this is kinda my first real doll mod, besides trimming or styling a couple of my na!na!na! dolls hair (and also not counting the doll modding i did as a kid, lol) i used the Mia Mermaid na!na!na! surprise mini doll and an LPS walrus from the blind boxes (#17, series 1)
im trying to come up with a name for the walrus-headed mermaid, anyone have ideas? (@gentle-lemon has naming rights for the mermaid-headed walrus, as she will be living on his car dashboard when she finishes curing)
i also got this winter bunny LPS (#8) from a blind box, anyone have any ideas? not gonna lie, i kinda wanna get a beefy buff muscular masculine body to go with the head cus the bunny reminds me of a character i have that has that body-type. however while ive been a toy collector for awhile, im kinda new to doll collecting and even newer to doll modding, so idk where to find that. my instinct and memory from childhood toys is to say a GI joe doll body but im worried that would be way too big lol 😅 my second guess is to find a smaller action figure or something like that but idk. any suggestions for a beginner?
