BIS Toys Registration is a Government Gazzette Notification under which all the toys or the products used for play by children below 14 years of age has to undergo prior testing and certification as per Scheme 1 of Schedule 2 by BIS or to be specific ISI Mark before its manufacturing and import in India.
Under Toys Registration or BIS Registration for Toys the manufacturer of the toys have to install an in-house lab for testing the products as per Indian Standards, IS 9873 part 1,2,3,4 and IS 15644.
