Kakyoin and you were inseparable. After his near-death experience, it's like you had to make sure he was still there in more ways than one. Holding his hand, caressing his cheek, running your hand through his hair, anything that could ground you that he's alive. Real.

After a long day, Kakyoin was walking you to the nearby bakery shop, just to get you some pastries he'd promised a while ago. As you two arrive, Kakyoin excuses himself to go and get the pastries, telling you to go ahead and find a small booth.

You sat down, finally relaxing from the hours of time taken away from you by things you needed done. Hey, atleast Kakyoin was there. As he approaches, he gave you a small bag, while he had a plate of cherry cake on top. The silent comfort being warm and cozy, especially with the soft chatter around them.

"Kakyoin?" You called out while he was taking a bite of his cake. "Hm?" He responds, his cheeks full of cake. You couldn't help but forget what you were gonna say, staring at him chewing like a cute squirrel. His cheeks looked so chubby, it just made you even more cozy and warm.

"Are you gonna say something?" He swallows his cake, letting out a light chuckle at your sudden silence. "Huh? Oh— right, right.." you snapped out of it. But you just can't help yourself! "It's just that.. you look really cute. Really cute." You confessed, looking back down at his cheeks which are once again filled with cake.

The moment he swallows, you reach out— gently pinching his cheeks like he was some baby. "Er.. wha' you doin'?" Kakyoin smiles, which make you get more annoyed. "Your so cute it's annoying." You muttered, reaching for his hand and kissing the warm center of the palm, at this point smothering it with kisses.

You couldn't stop, he was just so cute. "Your too cute. Stop being cute damn it." You argued, almost like it was a top tier debate. "Hmm? Fortunately for you I actually can't stop." He smiled, taking your hand in his, kissing it himself. "Shall we?" He gestured to the door, picking up your bag.

"Your acting like I'm a princess." You argued.

"Your my only prince. I'm your knight in shining armour." He argued back.

Argued? No, almost like lovely banter.

As you two walk you gently caressed his cheeks, giving praises left and right, never ending. "Did you know your really handsome? Or that your really strong? You survived Dio, your really strong. You can literally bench press me. Are you real? Cause your my dream man. Why are you so cute??" Your tone almost becomes angry, but there was no real sting to it. Even cringe-y pick up lines slither in like a sneaky snake.

Kakyoin couldn't help but turn a little pink by the ears. "Really?" He muttered quietly. You two reach the train station, and you just stay behind him, hugging from behind. "You smell nice too. I can't believe your mine. Are you mine? Oh my god your my boyfriend. Holy shit your my boyfriend. I hate you so much. I love you." You praise, sweetly kissing his nape, muttering praises into it.

"You hate me, hm? My prince?" He chuckled, holding the hands that lovingly wrapped around his waist. "Yes. I'm yours. Now and forever." He leaned into you, his tense shoulders relaxing.

You eventually had to pull away from him, now pinching his cheeks like everything else never mattered. His eyes soften, lingering in your eyes while you were focused on nothing but his cuteness.

"You're definitely cuter." His tone was warm, cozy, and hail 2 u if I didn't mention cute.

"Mhm. Say whatever you want. I'm gonna—" you groan, pulling him into a big, squeezing hug. Very aggressively. Very cutely.
