How do you see Hairu and Touka getting along?
Depends!
I think there could initially be some tension, depending on what angle we're going with. I do think both are open-minded enough to find middleground though, and, especially with how Touka's grown, I think they may even find some solace in one another. I think Hairu would be a really fascinating and beneficial look inside the CCG for Touka, even when she doesn't necessarily need more persuading to keep her mind open. Similarly, I think (if we're going off My Fantasy Versionsâ„¢) Haise could be a good gateway into Hairu's curiosity to the other side.
To Me, Hairu does her job because she was raised for it and that's just What You Do. Especially with her casual demeanor towards the Quinx who were very controversial in the workplace, I think she could pretty easily be convinced to explore the Ghoul Side. She's a half-ghoul herself, after all, and that "forbidden" knowledge of the other side Does get enticing.
I think Hairu would have lots of stories to share about Kaneki during his Haise Time, and I think Touka would have lots to share from before then. I think Touka would maybe be a little "jealous" she missed out on Haise's demeanor, patience, loyalty, etc. Hairu would agree that Kaneki's pull towards abandonment sounds like a nightmare. I think the two should gang up on him and chide him for all sorts of silly things in response. And I think they should be girlfriends about it HEHE
