Despite all making an effort and arriving before daylight to catch the sunrise on Saturday morning, there was a decided lack of sky colour. I've especially been moaning about a 'sense of entitlement' that leaving home at 4am would translate into a guaranteed gorgeous sky for sunrise. ... But, nature has other ways of giving colour! 🌅 On Saturday I got together with some wonderful IGer's. We'd all met almost 4 years ago in the very early times of IG. Throughout the years, we've tried to get together as life and times allowed. So, with great expectations we gathered together on Saturday at Sandon Point, Bulli on the NSW South Coast for sunrise. There are a few old, boat houses on the beach here. I dodged the incoming tide to walk back to take a shot looking towards the horizon. 🌅 ...And then I smiled to myself as I looked at all our antics on the beach. Some were on rocks taking pics, while others were wading through waves. And the over all sense was that with each of us, we all brought our 'own colour' to share. Such a lovely rainbow we brought to share in stories and laughter. 🌈 And, breakfast after was a total hit. Noting better than hot chocolates, eggs benny, with friends, over looking the ocean. 🌅 #oldigerscantjumpmeet #touchyfeelymeet #oldcrewmeet #visitwollongong #NewSouthWales #seeaustralia #sandonpoint #bulli #abcmyphoto (at Sandon Point Beach)
