(Tap for sound.🎶🔊) Being vegan is normal, vegans are realistic. Extremes are destructive. Gray is rational. Gray is seeing the truth and making choices accordingly. We vegans are not to be dismissed as inconsequential little hippies wearing hemp. (Nothing against hemp.) Since that's how most people (still) choose to perceive us, here's a #touchofgray for you. I'm from Oregon (so I'm okay with being perceived as a 'Dead head';) ) But I've lived all over, I've been vegan for a long, long time. Right now, being vegan is the ONLY way anyone can effect real change that matters. If the millions of people stunned and outraged by what's happening in our governments were to go vegan it would make an actual difference---the 'powers that be', the planet, the universe (what have you) will notice and act accordingly. If you claim to be progressive, if you've claim to care about the environment, you should ALREADY be vegan. Otherwise those are just words. What you do as a consumer *when no one watches or cares* is what actually counts, not what you say about yourself online. Your consumer choices count more than anything else.
