“ what ? ” pride laid down another royal flush, reclining against the couch. cheating- in this case- was more to irritate the sin across from them than any real need to impress. “ can’t handle losing, gluttony? ”

"You smell familiar. Have we met? We have, haven't we?! I just can't... put my finger on it." Gluttony, ignoring all notion of a 'personal bubble', moves closer, intent on sniffing the poor man's neck. / touchcfhell (gluttony)
There are a certain set of social conventions that one is expected to follow when approaching a stranger. Generally speaking, the proper course of action is to not approach strangers unless you have good reason to. That’s how Miles has always seen it, anyway. He’s insatiably nosy and has half a mind to be in everyone else’s business at all times, but there’s a vast ocean’s worth of difference between simple eavesdropping and actively attempting to worm your way into someone else’s life.
And then there’s the means of introducing yourself – a pickup line is usually sufficient. Some witty bit of banter that’s meant to provoke or intrigue. Or if romance isn’t the goal, an observational comment might get the ball rolling. Perhaps something more forthright and aggressive, if you’re looking to start a fight.
You don’t typically comment on someone’s smell right out of the gate unless your name happens to be Hannibal Lecter.
“Uh– what the actual fuck is your problem?” The step forward is mirrored by Miles’ step back as he struggles to maintain a respectable distance between them. They’re probably high, and Miles isn’t much in the mood to deal with someone else’s mess. “I don’t know who the fuck you are, and I don’t want to know who the fuck you are. Back off.”
