A new book titled Empire of the 'B's by Dave Jay with Torsten Dewi and Nathan Shumate will be released in December! This will be the first authorized history of Charles Band's Empire Pictures, the titanic film studio that produced dozens of classic horror, sci-fi, and fantasy movies in the 80's and paved the way for the formation of Full Moon Features in the 90's and beyond. The book will feature never-before-seen photographs and concept art from the height of Empire Pictures' success, as well as brand new revelations gathered from extensive interviews with Charles Band and other key figures from the studio's past.
