Ok second post about Mitsuki in 24hrs or so but. Wanted to clear my thoughts about Mitsuki and Toreni and whether or not they are related or not.
Right now I have two “Theories” that are possible regarding Mitsuki and Toreni.
1) He is Torenis son as well as Orochimarus, the reasoning behind him getting affected by Eida is due to Toreni either just not being like other Otosuki as he’s said in the movie, or Toreni/Orochimaru did something to Mitsuki to “Seal” the Otosuki part of him except for when he uses Sage Mode (Which is why Orochimaru has been against him using it, not just because it fucks his body up and why other Otosuki have been quick to take Mitsuki out in any combat situation, like literally if you look in the Movie and in Boruto, you can see the Otosuki threat or other threat who are familiar with them, quickly try to dispatch Mitsuki)
2) That he IS in fact, Orochimaru and Kabutos son but like how Kabuto absorbed Orochimarus DNA to gain their powers, Orochimaru had Mitsuki body Absorb Torenis DNA Somehow. I would prefer this but I mean I might be a little biased. Same thing applies for how Mitsuki is affected by Eida only it was Orochimaru who did it. Considering Otosuki are well…seen as dangers if he showed signs of being one (Especially now that Kawaki is determined to kill them all) he could be put down, or at least forced to leave and live in hiding.
And if you’re wondering how….biologically that could work Mitsuki is a test tube baby so no one needed to get pregnant just DNA was needed to make him into a tube baby plus I am…almost positive if Orochimaru wanted to they could change their Sex. If they can turn into a giant snake monster that shoots little snakes out of their body I’m sure they can give themself a Snussy since technically two AMAB genetics can’t make a baby but I mean it’s a anime so I doubt they care about how realistic they are with their characters.
