jensen looks so fuck!ng good
idk what it says about me but i honestly think what happened with misha and the fan was a big, disappointing miscommunication that's been blown way out of proportion. obviously the fan is entitled to her feelings and being hurt by the experience is in no way okay, but i also firmly believe misha wasn't trying to be malicious in his intent. it sucks that the impact was so negative, but i just can't agree with people calling him hateful and homophobic because of it... what're your thoughts?
Oh, I totally agree. I think Misha thought because of the self deprecating jokes the person told at the beginning that they were on the same page. Apparently they werent. Knowing creation I wouldn't give the handlers credit and say they were joking with the "eww"s but honestly the man who has almost cried when fans have told him about how much Cas' confession has meant to them, the man who fought for the confession in the first place, the man who tweeted "you are not crazy", would never maliciously say anything like that. This was definitely a miscommunication. Im still very sad for that person, it's a shit experience to have, especially as your first one.
But I also have to mention (and this has nothing to do with the person but with general fandom behaviour) that it is very unfair that Misha is called homophobic for what was clearly a miscommunication when Jensen has gotten away with doing/saying stuff far worse / or not saying anything at all when he should have and have it been turned into this whole sexy silence bullshit. And no, I don't think Jensen deserves to be harrased for any of this. But neither does Misha for something that's far less problematic imo.
Looking good.
