Pandora: I just need a minute please, Achilles

Achilles: Take all the time you need, you won’t be disturbed

Pandora: Where did everything go wrong? How did it come to this?

-Pandora sniffs-

???: Yo Pandora!

???: Hey, get your hands offa me!

Achilles: You need to leave or we’ll make you.

Jasper: Your not to disturb the Princess during this time

???: The Princess is my niece, let me through! Pandora!

Pandora: Wha Uncle Sven? Hey, let him through!

Sven to Jasper: Like I said, get your hands offa me before you start somethin' you can’t finish boy

Pandora: Are you seriously making a scene right now Uncle Sven?

Pandora: They are just doing their job uncle.

Sven: Been trying to get in contact with you for weeks. Tried calling ya phone and everything but it went straight to voicemail so I figured they must have taken it from ya

Pandora hesitates, looking away: Ah..yeah....about that...

Pandora changed the subject: How have you and the kids been?

Sven: We've been alright, taking it day by day. I know everyone has been worried about you girls staying here with these people.

Pandora: We have been fine, Uncle Sven, everything has been… fine

Sven looks around: Ya know, for some Royals, they could have done the funeral a lot better, could hardly see any of it with how far back they put us but I know for damn sure this isn't what my sister would have wanted.

Pandora: Yeah Mama isn't really the showy type but this is how the Royal Family does these things as I'm told.

Sven: Still, she left with ya for a reason, and now look, ya right back in a place where she didn't want ya at in the first place

-Pandora says nothing-

Sven: The situation is fucked but don't worry Nicecy, everything is gonna be alright. I got everything all figured out and soon you won’t have to worry about these people anymore ya feel me?

Sven: I know it’s gonna be rough for a minute with all y’all kids all in the same house but soon we’ll get a bigger place and things will finally work out. Trust me.

Pandora: What are you talking about Uncle Sven? Us all in the same place?

Sven: I know having 9 sims in one household is damn near impossible, but once we move into this new spot I've been eyeing up, things will get a lot better.

Nikolaos couldn't help but laugh: Thanks Nico, I see the past years haven't changed you much. I have missed you truly

Nico: Bullshit, I guess that's all that bad karma coming back to bite you in your pale ass huh?

Neo: Nico!

Nico: What?

Nikolaos: It's quite alright Ms. Neo, I'm... quite use to Nicole and her wild antics.

Nico: Boi I know you did not just use my government name-

Nikolaos: It's really no problem, we have plenty of space for two more and I know the girls would love to see a familiar face around here.

Nico raises an eyebrow: Is that so? and how has my girls been exactly? Cause I find it real weird Pandora ain't been answering our phonecalls and how y’all got all this damn money and yet nobody paid their phone bill because why nobody picking up my damn calls-

Pandora: Aunite?

Neo: Hey baby girl

Pandora: Neo! You guys are really here!

Neo: Of course we’re really here!

Nico:….Panda…why do you look...

Pandora shakes her head: Please don't

Nico: like shit?

Pandora: it’s a long story Auntie,

Nico: We got time, you betta spill every drop of it. What happened?

Pandora: You have no idea how much I’ve missed you guys is what happened.

Nico whispers: Hey Nik

Nikolaos: Yeah

Nico: As soon as we're done here, I'm knocking you the fuck out

Nikolaos sighs: Wouldnt be the first time. Are you gonna tell me why beforehand or are you just gonna attack out of the blue again? I just wanna know now so I can have a medic on standby for when my security take you out again

Nico fake laughs: When I sent my girls to you... you swore to me they would be in good hands and yet... somehow in the five hours I've been here, Daphne had not said one single word and Pandora has eyebags deeper than the motherfuckin canyon. Why do the both of them look like they've been fighting demons?

Nikolaos starts: Nico,

Nico cuts him off: Save it, I'm not interested in your excuses, just know that after the funeral, I'm taking the girls and were gone...for good.

AN: whew the history these two have. They very much have a love hate relationship where it’s more hate than love but anyways we’re two posts away from the end of Chapter 1.

- April 21st, Thursday (2 days before the funeral) -

Selene: How many does this one make today?

Nikolaos: If you must know, this will be my first drink today.

Selene: You telling me this is your first glass today?

Nikolaos: You sound surprised.

Selene: You promise you wouldn't drink anymore....

Nikolaos sighed: If we're gonna do this then I'm going to need something a lot stronger.

Selene: not everything is a battle Nikolaos.

Nikolaos: With this damn family, it is....with you, it is.

Selene: I don't want it to be like that.

-Nikolaos says nothing-

Selene: I don't want this to become a thing again.

Nikolaos sighs: It won't Selene.

Selene: You say that but this is how it always starts, Nik. One drink becomes two and two then becomes three. Look at yourself Nik, look all around you. You haven't gotten any work done lately, you either come to bed late or not even at all. I find you passed out stinking of cigarette smoke, absolutely reeking of liquor.

Selene: What do you think would have happened if it was Callista or Adonis who had found you passed out like that yesterday? Or one of the Palace Staff? What if this got out, imagine how that would look? 'The Crown Prince passes out in a drunk stupor'. Your father would have your head.

Nikolaos: I was tired, Selene, don't make one cup a big thing.

Selene: and now this is where the lies start to come in because one cup does not have you like that. You know what happened to us the last time you started drinking. I'm not going through that again-

Nikolaos cuts her off angrily: What happened to us the last time? What happened to us the last time I started drinking was that when I needed you, you left!

Selene starts: You gave me no choice-

Nikolaos cuts her off: -I was grieving and in pain and you ran off-

Selene cuts him off: -You were horrible to me Nik! I had to!

Nikolaos: You had to? -Nikolaos laughs at her bitterly- Why did you come back then, if I were so horrible to you? Oh, I know-

Selene: Nik, when you drink you become a totally different person. You change and become someone I don't even recognize anymore and now it's starting to happen again. I don't want that for us!

Nikolaos: Your such bullshit

Selene: See! You would never speak to me like this unless you were drunk! Why would I want to go through that again?

Nikolaos: Because this isn't about you and if you get your fucking head out of your ass you would see that! When I needed you Selene you weren't there! I was grieving and in pain and you left because you couldn't handle the truth, So don't give me this bullshit about you not going through it again because you never did, to begin with! It was Damien. It was always Damien! When I had no one, I had him and now I have no one and it hurts.

So sorry if I want a fucking drink once in a while. Sorry if I'm too drunk and pass out everywhere. Sorry, I'm a fucking inconvenience for you. Sorry for all the things I hold back for your feelings.

Selene whispers: He wouldn't want this

Nikolaos laughs bitterly: This fucking family.....Do you know what my father just did? In that one moment, he ruined everything. In that single moment, everything Pandora hates about this family was just validated by him.

Selene: He asked a genuine question Nikolaos. Even I for a minute thought Pandora was her mother.

Nikolaos mutters: Yeah because you think the absolute fucking worse of everybody,

-Selene frowns, saying nothing-

Nikolaos: And my father, calling her out like that? You think practically calling her a whore in front of her family was the right thing to do?

Selene: I would never agree with that but If he did imply that then he was in the wrong but Nik, Your father is grieving, just as you are. Words get said that you would never mean-

Nikolaos: You say that but you know better than anyone how deep words can cut. I imagine having your grandfather calling you a whore and accusing you of something horrible cuts you deep.... and they say with you. They follow you and haunt your every waking moment until those words are all you think about. All day and all night...is all you think about.

Selene: Nik...

Nikolaos: You want to know what's the last thing my older brother said to me? Do you wanna know what I hear every night before I fucking go to sleep? I hear my own brother telling me we're no longer family! He told me he could not trust his own brother with his family and you know what? He was right! The whole time he was right because how can I let my father call Dorry that?

Damien would have never allowed him to go so far and yet I just stood there and let it happen....

Selene: You need to find a better outlet for this pain Nik. Drinking yourself into oblivion and holding in this guilt isn't healthy and if you don't stop, your gonna find yourself right next to your brother leaving us all behind. Is that what you want?

Abraxas: I'm calling a family meeting.

-Nikolaos groans-

Abraxas continues, ignoring Nikolaos: A few things need to be discussed before this family moves forward.

Nikolaos: Seriously? Do we have to do this so early?

Selene sarcastically: Seriously? Why are you still hungover?

Nikolaos shakes his head: Don't start. Its too early.

-Pandora snorts-

Abraxas: Why is this...child here? Pandora?

Pandora shrugs: Well I've been up since 4, and she's been up since 6, I'm out of energy while she seems to be full of it. I figured since auntie likes babies, she wouldn't mind watching iris for a bit while I took a nap for a few hours..but then you called this meeting... which is mandatory apparently.

Selene smiles down at Iris: I would never say no to watching this little one especially if it will help you get some sleep, Pandora.

Pandora: Thanks, auntie, I really need it.

Abraxas: Fine. This brings up the first matter, her paternity.

Nikolaos: What the hell are you doing Father?

Abraxas: Getting to the matter at hand. This child has been in my home for 2 weeks and not once was I told of her existence beforehand.

Nikolaos: I already told you, yet you refuse to believe me.

Abraxas: I refuse to believe my son would keep this from me.

Nikolaos: I don't know why it's so hard to believe considering the things you kept from us.

Abraxas: I will discuss this matter and hear the truth from her!

Nikolaos: You're doing this in front of everyone? Really?

Abraxas ignores him: Pandora!

Pandora: Yes?

Abraxas: Who is Iris's father? Do you know?

Pandora: Is this a trick question?

Nikolaos pleads: Father, whatever you're hoping to achieve, you won't get it like this.

Pandora: I'm not understanding, why is this even a question?

Abraxas: Get your feet off the couch and sit properly when you speak to me!

Selene: Sweetie let's go, I don't think this is appropriate for little ears, let's go get a snack and let the grown-ups chat for a bit hmm?

Iris: Cookie! I wan cookies pls!

Selene: Of course, let's go find some cookies then.

Pandora to Abraxas: Please, it's too early for this.

Abraxas: I won't ask it again, look at me and tell me the truth!

Nikolaos: Hey! You are being way out of line!

Pandora: I don't understand what your trying to imply here. -Pandora stands up- Are you tryna say Papa isn't Iris's father? Are you tryna say my mother cheated on papa and had a baby with someone else?

Pandora: Please tell me, is this what we're doing right now? Are you choosing to do this now?

Adonis: Dorry, he's not accusing your mother. He's accusing you.

Pandora: What?

Adonis: Grandfather assumed that you were Iris's mother and he wanted to know who... the guy who fathered Iris.

Pandora: Wait what? Why would you think I'm her mother? I'm 16!

Callista: Well you did pop out of nowhere with a baby on your hip and it's not like teen pregnancy isn't a thing.

Pandora: Are you fucking serious?

Abraxas: Watch your mouth, Pandora!

Pandora: So you are serious?

Abraxas: There are standards that this family needs to uphold Pandora! I absolutely refuse to have a royal lady of my house become some loose woman!

Pandora: So instead of accusing me, why don't you just ask me then?!

Pandora: No you demanded it as if I owe you anything! The first time I have seen you in 10 years, you did not say one word to me. You didn't acknowledge me or my sisters in any way then at dinner you jump down my throat because of something I hadn't understood...

Pandora: My fucking parents just died, I'm stuck here in a place I don't want to be in, and my grandfather might as well have called me a teen whore to my face. I'm not doing this with you anymore, I'm done.

Abraxas: Where are you going?

Pandora: Anywhere that's away from you!

The Next Morning

Female Assistant: .....This is the itinerary for the funeral, Your Majesty..... will start in three days......

-Pandora sighs tiredly-

Later that night

Pandora: You can't be doing this Daph, you really need to try and sleep

-Daphne shakes her head silently-

Pandora: I know with the nightmares...trust me it's hard

-Daphne sniffs-

Pandora continues: But a few hours of sleep is better than no sleep at all okay? You and Iris tryna stay up all night, having a hell of a time together will hurt y’all in the long run so try to sleep, for me please?

Pandora: because if you get sick...then where will I be huh? Come on, try and sleep. Yoda and I will watch over you all night okay? Any nightmares come and scare you and me and Yoda will jump em alright, so theres no need to worry.

-Iris snores loudly sleeping peacefully-

Pandora neck itches: What was that? There's no one there….did I imagine that?

Achilles: What are you doing?

Pandora jumps in fright: AHhh you scared me. How long have you been standing there you freakin werido?

Achilles: Long enough to tell you that the bags underneath your eyes looks more horrendous up close.

Pandora: Fuck YOU Achilles!

Achilles: No thank you. -Achilles shakes his head- Your a minor, that would be very inappropriate.

Pandora: I didn't mean that literally, you know what? -Pandora sighs tiredly- Forget it, Did you happen to see that doctor around when you was standing there creepily?

Achilles: What doctor?

Pandora: The doctor that just went past me, didn't you see him?

Achilles looks at her weirdly: No.

Pandora: I could have sworn he was just here though. He literally gave me the creeps, surely I didn't imagine that.

Achilles: You need to sleep Pandora. Hallucinations are one of the symptoms of sleep deprivation.

Pandora: Please dont start, 

-Meanwhile-

-Loud beeping noises from various machines-

Nurse(Blue): His vitals are dropping.

Nurse(Green): His organs are failing, we need to get him into surgery now!

Doctor: OR 3 is free, head there immediately

Nurse(Green): Understood!

Pandora: Papa?

Nurse(Blue): Miss you need to step away

Pandora: Papa! What's going on!

Nurse(Blue): He’s being taken into surgery maam. You need to-

Pandora: Papa! Papa what's wrong! 

Nurse(Blue): You cant go any further miss!

Pandora: Hey! That's my father! Get off of me!

Achilles: Stop Pandora! You need to let him get the help that he needs!

Pandora: Papa!

Achilles: Listen, right now there's more important things to be worrying about! 

Pandora: Oh yeah? Like what?

Achilles: Your sister? Where's Daphne?

-Daphne sobs quietly-

Breaking News: Olympian Palace Announces Prince Damien's Death!

Late this afternoon, a statement was released announcing Prince Damien's Death!

Today, His Majesty was scheduled to host a press conference along with his son, Prince Nikolaos. It was expected that he would mention the Late Duchess of Volos but many couldn't help but wonder if one of the things he would address is the current controversy surrounding Her Highness, Princess Pandora when the conference was canceled at the last minute.

At the time, there was no explanation given for the cancelation and it wasn't until a statement was released on the behalf of King Abraxas that people finally found out the reason why the conference was canceled in the first place.

The statement reads...

On the behalf of His Royal Majesty,

The Olympus Palace hereby announces the death of His Royal Highness, The Duke of Volos, Prince Damien of House Vasileia. He passed away this afternoon during surgery.

All future royal engagements will be postponed during this time.

Prince Damien and Duchess Savannah were involved in a deadly car accident last weekend on the way to the airport. His death comes one week and a day after the death of his wife, The Duchess of Volos, Savannah Morris.

This is a tough time for Olympia as she loses two members of her Royal Family. A Royal Funeral will be scheduled sometime later this month.

We send our condolences to his remaining children and to his family at this time

Pandora: I'm really glad you came with me today Daph.

Daphne: Papa doesn't look any different than the last tine I was here.

Pandora: I know you might not see it but he’s slowly getting better, its just gonna take a bit of time.

-Daphne looks away saying nothing-

Pandora: I know that hearing you nearby would help him feel better as well.

Daphne: What do you mean?

Pandora: Well, some people who is in a deep sleep like Papa is in can sometimes still hear what's going on around him

Daphne: Really? He can still hear us? Even when he’s like that?

Pandora: I like to think so. It makes me feel a bit better at least when I talk to him about everything he missed so far. I like to imagine his reactions when I tell him about his trouble child throwing her cup of grape juice at that old painting on the wall or about that time when you tripped over the rug-

Daphne: You said you didn't see that!

-Pandora chuckles-

Pandora: Look, why don't you stay here while I go get us something from the vending machine okay? Is there anything specific you want?

Daphne: Can I get a creamy cake please?

Pandora: Sure,

Pandora neck itches: What was that? There's no one there....did I imagine that?

Daphne: Huh?
