Day 1 #100daysprojectnz On Monday we flew to Palmerston North to the Museums Aotearoa conference #ma17nz that my boss was speaking at. It was held at te manawa where there was an exhibition on the #topptwins, a rainbow flag in the foyer, a photographic exhibition of #butch folk. Also about 90% of the attendees appeared to be queer (thus says my gaydar), the opening party was hosted by a drag king and queen who made the crowd do the YMCA. BUT. The thing that was most queer was the pair of fishing rods that was used to decorate the wall above my bed in the hotel I was staying in.
