Kaze what do you hate the most about Windaria?

What an odd question, to ask him about a long-gone world that's been lost to Chaos.

It almost makes no sense. He'd been certain only three souls even remembered the land of Soil existed, really two now that Kupo is gone. Only himself and the Cloud remember Windaria, and... some days he's certain that the Cloud remembers more of his homeland than he does.

Sometimes, he gets a glimpse. Sometimes, a memory is retrieved from behind the heavy vault door that sections off everything prior to Wonderland, but a memory isn't always enough. He's only recently fished out his own tongue again, and even then it remains dead and unspoken. He navigates with snippets and instincts and things his body remembers but his mind has sealed firmly away.

However, he does recall just enough a name that makes his mouth taste sour when he thinks of speaking it. He doesn't remember precisely what they did or exactly why he despises them, but hatred doesn't come from nowhere and he has to trust his heart to some degree. There's always some truth underlying the things he can't stand.

Oktav was the second of Haya's reincarnations. He was a crystal dragon who lived in a cave system just outside a mountain village. Generally, he spent most of his days alone due to the stereotyping of his people as dangerous monsters.

However, that changed when he spotted Strålglans for the first time. It became his life mission to absolutely spoil and cherish the man, and they fell in love fast.

Musiki was the first of Haya's reincarnations. He was a shark siren who lived in a secluded area of the ocean. While most other sirens were murderous and vengeful, Musiki detested violence and mostly lured people in to warn them and/or befriend them. One day, he met a cartographer named Işıltı and the two became extremely close.

The Six || Bahamut's Lower Gods

Destruction's children, made by hand

From Soil they rose up to stand

Six of them to rule the grounds

Each one of them of high renown

Zoril, god of all things nature

Flora and fauna the most major

He was fickle in his rule

But he wasn't known for being cruel

Merito was the god of storms

And weather in all of its forms

Lightning, thunder, quakes, and more

All of these his ways to roar

Ekthos, the god of the dead

He was kind through all the dread

To lead souls to the afterlife

Absolved them of eternal strife

Uridos, god of all rebirth

Gave many purpose and self-worth

The cycle churns eternally

So the universe is in harmony

Shaki, the goddess of soil magic

Spells and summons, neither tragic

She powered much with her domain

None was possible to feign

Arakria, goddess of machine

Inspired inventions across the scene

The demon gun to house her father

Solved much that had begun to bother

These six gods kept Soil in balance

With their domains and countless talents

They granted much to the infernal

This rhyme is just one way to journal

All their lives and all their feats

Can't be contained in a few beats

This tale is as old as time

Windaria || The Land of Soil

Windaria was a planet which orbited two suns. It had three moons, though the largest one was by far the most visible in the night sky. Its climate was a mix of vast deserts and lush forests, depending on where one chose to go. Regardless of where one found themselves, though, it was generally warm. The forests were humid whereas the deserts were dry. Windarian deserts were often quite cold at night. Neighboring planets in its star system were completely inhabitable to all life, leaving Windaria the sole ruler of their galactic neighborhood.

It was ruled by its military and was largely governed by that military's commander, essentially under martial law at all times. Smaller city-states existed under the larger overarching government, but all deferred to the military as the highest authority.

Windaria's people, called Windarians, were the closest to the God of Destruction, Bahamut. As beings made of pure Soil and attuned to the Soil Spiral, they acted in favor of the collective with the knowledge that rebirth was imminent in some form or fashion. They knew Bahamut as their Infernal Father and Bahamut's six lower gods as their direct bloodline. Different people typically had different primary gods of worship out of those six.

Windarians were a humanoid species, though they were often quite a bit larger and their senses were much sharper than that of a human's. It wasn't out of place to see a Windarian whose claws were left unfiled, and their canine teeth were extremely sharp. This made them excellent warriors and fantastic combatants, which fueled their general sense of pride and superiority over beings of Mist, whom they largely viewed as more fragile and selfish. They were at war with the kingdom of Mist, called Misterica, for thousands of years. Battles were often fought on Windarian soil or in the dimensional tunnel that connected the two planets.
