It wasn’t that he didn’t believe in Jonathan; he knew his friend was very capable of doing whatever he put his mind to. Still this seemed like a feat that no one person could do. Still he sees the look of determination in his friends eyes and nods before he picks up the glass bottle, rootbeer. It was so dumb and would probably end in someone getting hurt but Argyle didn’t care he wanted to see how this played out.

Eddie shakes his head in disbelief of what Jonathan is saying. Were those really the words spilling out of Jonathan’s mouth? He had thought that Jonathan may understand. Still it seems like that is not the case which is a shame because Eddie really thought they could be friends. He lets out a scoff. “Do you hear yourself? Do you hear the words spilling out of your mouth? That’s shit and you know it. No one gets away with anything the consequences come back and bite us in the ass. All that… justice will get you or karma has its way. None of it is true none of that is true because people like that people like Steve Harrington or Jason Carver always get away with that shit. It wasn’t about Jason or Steve or anyone in particular. Well it was about some people in particular but none that Eddie cared to speak about none that Jonathan knew. He shakes his head. “The universe or the general population or someone is always picking a favorite. The chosen few who could get away with anything and trust me guys like us are never in that chosen few. They’re gonna be just fine one day with their perfect home, a great job, a wife, and two to three kids like everyone wants us to have. They will have perfection handed to them and they won’t even realize it’s there because they’re so used to getting what they want.” He’s rambling about nothing and everything he doesn’t even know what the point of all of this is.

Alice is trying her hardest to catch her breath. She had been running so long she feels like her lungs are on fire. There’s dirt, blood, leaves, and god knows what else attached to her. She couldn’t focus on any of that though because adrenaline is running through her body like crazy. So much had already happened that night she was going through a lot from seeing her boyfriend die to teaming up with her ex best friend to attempt to stop her ex best friend’s boyfriend from killing everyone. If you had told her even one of those things was going to happen tonight she simply wouldn’t believe you. This whole night was a hell she would never recover from if she even survived.
