Shah Alam, June 2: Top Glove Corporation Bhd has announced that Datuk Lee Kim Meow, the company’s current managing director will be redesignated as a non-independent and non-executive director effective Aug 1, upon completing his employment contract with the company on July 31. Succeeding Lee is the company’s current executive director, Lim Cheong Guan, who will be appointed managing director effective Aug 1 this year. Furthermore, in line with the board succession planning, Ng Yong Lin who is presently the Chief Operating Officer (COO), will be appointed an executive director of Top Glove Corporation Bhd effective Aug 1 as well. Lee, aged 63, retires after 25 years of service at Top Glove, 13 of which he served as MD. Shah Alam, March 24: Top Glove has inked a partnership with Manulife Investment Management Bhd, iFAST Capital Sdn Bhd and UOB Kay Hian Wealth Advisors Sdn Bhd to enhance the private retirement scheme for its eligible employees. The scheme which was introduced in Feb 2016 was done as part of its ongoing efforts to offer competitive rewards and remuneration for employees. Through Manulife’s PRS Scheme, the glove maker will be able to make contributions for its employees via the iFAST integrated online platform.
