Stop gender-based censorship.

To allow male chests and censor female chests is an act of misogyny. Simple as that. So let's stop it and start treating everyone with equal respect and dignity, regardless of your gender identity or body type.

I do not censor breasts on this blog or in any of my works.

Nudity will be blurred and have warnings. Though neither nudity nor breasts are inherently sexual.

Where I'm making the distinction, is that I don't subscribe to the warped idea that breasts are sexual organs. They're not.

Therefore, I will write and draw toplessness without discrimination.

one interesting thing: i found an image of maggie in swimwear/beachwear not wearing a top. so if they can just do that then why bother with giving her a top in the other images? lol

another interesting thing: remember when homer made fun of üter for having boy boobs? funnily enough, i feel like that would be exactly what female-looking chests would look like in the simpsons if they were allowed to be shown bare like male-looking chests are. kind of a paradox, isn't it?

it's only further proof that it's not about breasts, it never was. it's about misogyny and the controlling, sexualisation and objectification of female-looking bodies. if society could get over these useless and harmful societal norms, we would be one step closer towards gender equality.

i made these edits to show that the idea of topfree equality might at first seem daring and obscene, but when you actually see it happen, it'll slowly sink in that it's not actually that bad. the world will not explode like you first anticipated. yes, many people will be angry about it, whether they have good or bad intentions. but i believe that is a conflict we need to suffer through for society to suffer less in the future. it's kinda like pulling off porcupine quills. it might hurt to pull them off, but you'll suffer a lot less without them than with them.

There are laws about public nudity, but the laws don't expressly forbid it.

Did you know many women have been arrested regardless of this fact? Many of the cases against them have been dismissed later on, but they were still penalized for breaking a law that doesn't exist.

For an example, it's legal in Saskatchewan, but that hasn't stopped women from being harassed and arrested by cops for public indecency.
