How did Hvor er Thea end?? What's the 'that' they did, did they do something to make it explicitly -not- wlw? I didn't watch the show at all but I've been kind of following it via my dash so I'm curious~
hi my love! putting this under a read more for those of you who arenāt up to speed yet
Thea eventually is found through facebook (her sister made a sock account with a name from a character from a book, thea uses a name from that book as well), and Liv and she talk to each other for a moment before the internet connection stops on Theaās end - turns out Thea wasnāt stalked by Sondre, her bf from way back when (and apparently they were it for each other, according to an old friend of Theaās). Thea was stalked by Guttorm, the guy whoās beenĀ āhelpingā Liv find Thea (which is kind of absurd; bc he was obstructing her in finding Thea several times - wouldnāt he want to find her, even if it was through Liv?)
In any case, we didnāt get a clip for two days, and in a sequence of photographs we get in the last clip we see guttorm getting arrested.... somehow? i think he was peppersprayed??? idk).Ā
okay so, then we get thea and liv reuniting; and a very emotional hug and cute footage of them being lovely with each other (and talking about visiting someoneās grandmother together) - and so we think, hey!! but then Liv asks Thea about how Sondreās doing. Itās a pretty small moment, but the implication is there; Thea is back together with Sondre, bc thereās no other reason why Liv would ask Thea about her ex-bf? so it is not explicit but it did kind of confirm it to me.
and this is infuriating bc there were moments in the whole show that at least indicated that Thea is bi/pan (another friend she met in Denmark, Sophia, really seemed into her? really in love with her? Theaās Danish ex-bf also was constantly talking about them being lesbians, Sophia and Thea. We never got to see Sophia, who really missed Thea too, again. And then, Thea and Liv apparently fell out after a night where Thea was kissing another girl in front of a DJ and Liv was mad with her the day after (but liv didnāt really understand why). never mind all the vague clues that Liv was Not Into Men; all the kissing clips with Thea, the way she talked about her... come on, show, these girls were certainly more than what they gave us in the end.
They couldāve done better! Imagine this: even changing the sentenceĀ āhowās sondreā intoĀ āhowās sophiaā wouldāve meant so much.Ā
but oh well, it was a badly written show honestly. you could basically watch the first and the last episode and barely miss anything!
