What's your favorite kitchen appliance?
My coffee pot and electric kettle, which is probably the least surprising answer I could give. The kettle is really nice in that the temperature it heats water to is adjustable, so teas with more specific temperatures than "boiling" (such as green teas) are a looot easier to brew. It's a very appreciated feature, especially for someone who is extremely sensitive to temperature and seems to burn their mouth way easier than other people (me, it's me)
6. What's your go-to recipe for when you want to make something that requires minimal effort?
I'm not sure if this is considered a "recipe," but the actual act of eating is something I can also find quite taxing, so I usually go with a makeshift protein smoothie. Old fashioned oats, milk, frozen banana, a heaping ton of peanut butter, cocoa powder, and some ice. Blend. Oats make the peanut butter a complete protein, banana and cocoa help mask the peanut butter taste a bit.
If I have some more energy and want real food, I'll make brown rice on the side and cook black beans + salsa + some other seasonings. If I have canned chicken, I'll add canned chicken. This usually makes a lot, so I'll have the leftovers for breakfast with some scrambled eggs added in.
14. What's a hobby you'd like to get into?
Leatherwork, for sure. I would love to get into leatherworking, but even the material itself can be so expensive. If we're going complete fantasizing, I would also really quite like to get into glassblowing
