I know, it’s there as a safety net. Did you try rehoming your pet? Did you try getting a rescue interested? Did you ask all your friends? Did you ask all your family? Are you going to do everything in your power to get that animal out of the shelter as soon as possible? When someone surrender an animal… All I see and hear is one or more of my existing fury friends shelter being put in severe danger. There’s only two ways to make space… They walk out the front door or… they get wheeled out the back. too harsh? The truth hurts. They’re not going to build more kennel space. There is only so much room.
