Tony had two things in his arms when he knocked on the door of Pepper's office Friday afternoon. One was another bouquet of flowers - the other was a small wrapped box.

Now, if anyone knew he was on site, he'd probably be getting stopped for one thing or another. A 'how is this product going' or a 'Sir, if you could just-'.

ALL the nope. He'd been tinkering until his hands felt half near raw, and common sense told him about four hours ago that he should take a break. So. Break time. Which lasted all of five minutes before he hopped in a car and parked at the back of the Stark Industries building, sneaking up the service stairs and slipping past people on his way to Pepper's 'I'm the Boss Lady, now sit your butt down and listen' office.
Okay, so it was just an office, but more often than not it involved him being late with signing off on the few things that still needed his signature since she'd accepted that she's officially in charge, not just unofficially.

He sneaked into her office and shut the door behind himself. In his hand he had a batch of fresh blueberries (hey, he could learn. Sometimes).

He'd destroyed all his suits and he did it for Pepper but at this point it has been months and he was lost. Of course he spend hours in the shop working on his cars and various other projects but he missed his suits. Pepper was out of the house for the day, much like she normally was, at SI of course and he had nothing to do. Naturally he walked to the shop and looked at the empty spaces he had for his suits, he missed them and the new house was nothing without his suits, it felt empty. Tony sat as his desk and all his Iron Man blueprints were pulled up. "J, we are back, let's get these suits back up and running." He muttered to his AI, he couldn't resist the urge anymore, he had to do it. While he worked he had his music blaring and occasionally he would tap his arc as he thought, currently he was working on one of the gauntlets of the suit when he heard the signature beeping noise of Pepper entering the shop.
