or 6, 14, and 36 if you wanna limit a bit.
Bless you, Any. Yes. I think I will.
6. Public library or personal library? This one confuses me a bit, as I’m not sure if it’s like, “Which do you read from?” or, “Which would you rather have?” or what and I’m just??? Both, obviously. Libraries are really important and it’s been too long, honestly, since I’ve visited one because the bigger one is far away and I can’t drive. Not that the little one nearer to me is BAD it’s just much smaller and I’m impatient, often, when it comes to books. Or at least I was. I keep meaning to get a new library card because it’s SO MUCH MORE AFFORDABLE than buying every book I want to read, even if I’m not sure that I’ll like the book. And I like the feeling of a library. HOWEVER, it has been a dream of mine since my childhood to have my very own proper personal library and I’m going to keep buying books and hold on to every one that I like so that in the future, I can fill up my own library, and then have my kids and grandkids borrow books from it. That’s my dream. Just to be this happy older person who collects mugs and books and entertains the beautiful children of my life.
14. Favorite item of book merch? Now, see, I’m not much of a merch person. Like, if someone else buys it for me and it’s cute enough and it’s attached to that person and a particular event and is therefore imbued with a special kind of meaning, I’ll keep it, but honestly, I’m not in love with anything that takes up space and doesn’t also serve a practical purpose, y’know? That’s probably just because I live in such a small space right now that I feel like I’m CONSTANTLY SURROUNDED BY MY OWN CLUTTER and it infuriates me, even though I do NOT actually own a lot of clutter, and 85% of what’s taking up space in my life right now is books and the clothing I cannot hang up in my closet because I need to buy some damn hangers, as if I tried hard enough I could probably make it all fit in my tiny closet. Anyway. I have a little plastic time turner that Joseph bought me as a little present in high school, and it was a joke about how I could have more time to sleep, and it was really clever and thoughtful in the way that he always is and I still have that on my bookshelf, so. Also, Chelsea made me a Gryffindor scarf once, before she knew I was a Ravenclaw and all that. It’s too short and whatever, but I keep it because Chelsea is adorable and I love her and it deserves to be kept.
36. Unpopular opinions? This is such a broad question, honestly? I don’t know? I don’t even know enough to say which of my opinions is truly unpopular. The only thing I can think of right now is remember Inkheart, and how they made a movie out of it, and it was supposedly really popular or whatever? I tried to read that once and I thought it sucked. I didn’t even finish it.
