Auch der neueste Rechnungshofbericht hält fest, dass Wohnungen, die ausschlieĂlich zu VergnĂźgungszwecken verwendet werden, die angespannte Lage am Wohnungsmarkt im urbanen Bereich empfindlich verschärfen. ⢠In Wien alleine geht man von Ăźber 9.000 (!) Wohnungen aus, die Ăźber die Plattform AirBnB vermietet werden. 2018 wurde unter Druck von den GrĂźnen in Wien ein Verbot von Kurzzeitvermietungen in besonders begehrten Lagen eingefĂźhrt. Nun ist die rot-pinke Stadtregierung aufgefordert, ihre Verpflichtung gegenĂźber den WohnbedĂźrfnissen der Wiener*nnen ernst zu nehmen und den Wohnraumkillern einen Strich durch die Rechnung zu machen. Denn Zweckentfremdung von Wohnraum ist kein Kavaliersdelikt, sondern muss konsequent verfolgt werden. Pages from an 18th-century book documenting the servants of Count Hieronymus of Colloredo, Archbishop of Salzburg. On the left-hand page, second from the bottom, Leopold Mozart is listed as the Deputy Kapellmeister. Leopold maintained this position for the rest of his life, something that annoyed his son. Wolfgang saw his fatherâs lack of promotion to Kapellmeister as a snub from the Archbishop.
On the right-hand page, underlined in pencil, is a tenor named Giuseppe Tomaselli. His son would later buy a cafĂŠ in Salzburg, which bears his name to this day. It was probably for the best that the sale was made, since Mozart didnât seem to think very highly of the cafĂŠâs original owner.
