Of all the people to be stuck into a cramped basement room with, Dingo was a spectacular example of holding the title of “most unwanted” firmly in his grubby little hands.
Diggy, unlucky as usual could cite from the top of her head at least two dozen fellows that did commit what could be considered felonies she’d have rather been stuck with. Felons that at least, would have had the decency to not turn and shout at her five seconds after hearing the dreadful click of the door locking.
“Ah’m useless?! AH’M useless?!” Diggy shrilled in outrage at the accusation, tone rising to resemble the noise made by a plastic squeaky duck getting mauled, hand dramatically raised to her chest. “Oh, well hardy-harr-harr! Ain’t that rich comin’ from the shmuck that SLAMMED THA DOOR CLOSED SO HARD IT DONE GOT STUCK AND LOCKED US IN!”
The small ‘bot jabbed an accusatory digit at the human’s chest, before turning around in a huff, arms crossed onto her chest. “Ah’ll let ya’ know, unless ya’ want me ta destroy half a dozen wires and water pipes? Me diggin’ us out of that situation ain’t happenin’, buddy. Ah’ don’t wanna’ be charged with extensive property damage, and neither do ya’!”
