We met with Tom Loeser, chair of the Art Department, who gave us a tour of the facilities. Thanks to Tom we were asked to give two lectures at the University of Wisconsin! Michael Velliquette invited us to his Graduate class and Leslee Nelson invited us to speak in her undergrad Art Business class.

Both professors are pushing their students to think outside the parameters of what an artist's path ought to be. Considering and teaching the professional necessities, yes, but broadening the scope of how and where these young artists can show and create in the future. As we have seen on this journey, there are cities and towns exploding with creativity far from the coastal art worlds that are so often the focal points of the budding artist. We shared our experiences of living on the road and constantly creating our own venues for our art form while exploring the often unmentioned gems of middle America's artistic culture.
