coming back for one post just to say fuck tolabow, interesting design in an interesting design space that is ruined by being too damn confusing.
which of the following is allowed in a tolabow + black deck?
tolabow + black lets you play any card with a blue colour identity or any instant/sorcery that is the colour(s) black or blue black.
the colour of a card is* the colours in its mana cost unless otherwise specified, so unburial rites is a black card while misty teachings is a blue card. this means that tolabow gives us permission to play unburial rites. devoid removes colour, so complete disregard would not be allowed, as it does not have a black colour.
the colour identity (CI) is* the colours of any pips on a card, so misty teachings has a CI of blue black, and complete disregard of black. because these cards are not coloured black or blue black, and dont have a CI of blue or colourless, they are not allowed to be played in a tolabow deck.
all in all we can play unburial rites, and neither of the other two.

*i am aware of the colour indicator and CDAs. bringing them up beyond a footnote would turn a confusing thing even more confusing, with devoid being the main CDA people will interact with. and i didnt want to make things even more confusing with indicators (oh, fuck indicators too. pips having cool symbols that differentiated them is great for accessibility, which indicators fail at.) (but yes, you can play profane tutor in tolabow+black)
genuinely so confusing. i asked an L1 friend of mine which she thought would be allowed, and she got it wrong. like come on, why is this effect worded like this! its effect shouldntve been this, even if a clearer version makes the card stronger and/or less interesting.
