I know there’s a lot of backlash over the hofas book. IDC. Literally couldn’t care less. It is slow. ITHAN’s POV IS CERTAIN TYPE OF TORMENT.

but, i LOVE THAT FUCKING BOOK.

HUNT + BRYCE

I fucking love hunt and bryce together. I love their quarreling all throughout hofas — SO REAL. Yes! Like finally some realism included: the hesitation to rebel and do the heroic thing. Hunt’s trauma/ptsd.

I LOVE THEM TOGETHER. Yin and yang.

AND BRYCE IS SO BADASS. So smart and intelligent and cunning and brilliant!!!!! SHE DID THAT. Fiercely independent and capable— i’m enamored with her, i want a shred of bryce to live in me. Her courage and selflessness. SHE IS EVERYTHING!!!! Hunt athalar is one fucking lucky sob

OTHER RELATIONSHIPS

here’s the thing: i am REALLY rooting for some of the peoples to get together, like REALLY rooting for them

Here’s who I AM rooting for in the books to come:

Tharion and Sathia — that is his WIFE. He’s so invested in her. Im really hopeful for them. His urge to go find her immediately following the asteri massacre, despite having to go back to the VIPER QUEEN — someone who *actively* wants him dead. Also, i find tharion to be insanely hot. 1. He’s an ass guy. 2. Shameless flirt. 3. He’s just fucking hot. And sathia is a strong-willed badass!!!! THESE TWO ALL THE WAY. Ik she’s got her fae bf in the vq’s thralls but…. Im team #thathia

Flynn and Ariadne — flynn is a shameless flirt, but he is down BAD for the dragon, hear me out. He teases everyone, and shoots heart eyes at anyone walking by. But. But. But. There’s something… particular about how he interacts with Ariadne. He’s infatuated. AND. He was really fucking pissed when she disappointed them all. And just the importance he puts on her. “We’re not done here”. Flynn is HOT. (Gentle reminder that he made an entire oak tree burst out of nothing 2 seconds after bryce freed avallen’s magic). Perhaps, it is me, who is down bad for flynn. BUT! I think their storyline isn’t over… perhaps mates?????????? IDK!!! But im so curious to find out

Ithan and Perry — admittedly, i find ithan to be slightly boring. Basically the entirety of hofas he was just trying to do right by his late brother, but failed to realize — literally the entire time — that HE was the answer to his problems. Silly, silly man. And to be real, a dramatic king. But i love him. He’s young. AND NOW HE’s PRIME HOLY SHIT. But, anyways, i think it’s good for ithan to move on from bryce. I think perry offers a lot of greatness and a softer side, with an appreciation for beauty and art and the lower melodies of their world. I think ithan would benefit from that. I also think he’s starting to realize he actually might like her towards the end of hofas… time will see

I personally DO think aelin WILL make a reappearance. (at least im willing it with my entire heart. I think the coincidences are uncanny. The whole “world-walking” thing with bryce. “Wyrd” reference made by the under king in reference to luna/cthona— perhaps, linking the two, same “gods” (obviously… but could this develop into anything) and then OBVIOUSLY lidia and her kids. LIDIA— who is walking fire. LIDIA who named HER SON AFTER BRANNON. That had to mean SOME type of relation to aelin, right??????

Also, who THE FUCK is lidia’s father?????? Her mother was a witch… her father obviously fae. And she hails from a line of fire-powered fae. IS IT AT ALL POSSIBLE (hear me out) that perhaps lidia comes from a crossover in the rowaelin/manorian bloodline???? Perhaps aelin and rowan’s kids got together with manon and dorian’s (potential) kids… IDK???? But MAYBE???? Anything is possible in the sjm realm

The princes of hel mentioned that 4 of their brothers were off fighting for other worlds… who and WHERE are their brothers????? I thought briefly of the valg and maeve but… they are def NOT helping any world…

I NEED TO KNOW WTF HAPPENS WITH RHYSAND AND RUHN. DO THEY MEET??!?!? DO THEY BOND OVER BEING DADS?!?!!???!? DO THEY EVER FIGURE OUT WHY THEY LOOK ALIKE??? Was there some linking in their ancestry with being starborn?? Silene had said that the prison was cued into the blood of the starborn, allowing them access. Rhys has this ability, right, without even realizing it? As does bryce? Does this mean they’re distinctly related. A wild theory, one i’ve seen before in the sjm universe, but is it at all possible that rhysand’s sister might have survived and moved to midgard to later birth ruhn?? The timelines between prythian and midgard are VERY SIMILAR, if not the same. So I’d wager that Feyre was at the spring court during the time that Danika died— likely just arriving there. Ruhn is significantly older than Bryce (what like 50? years)… the autumn king was old asf, and the only thing we really know about ruhn’s mom is that she was kept safe bc she bore ruhn, the prince, but that she always felt endeavored to the king. ???? IDK IDK. But i just need to know why they look so much alike
