Elevate your barbecue experience with this vegan twist on grilled corn. The tofu sauce adds a savory and smoky flavor, making it a perfect side dish for your next outdoor gathering.
Ingredients: 4 ears of corn, husked. 1/2 cup firm tofu, crumbled. 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 tablespoon maple syrup. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Soy sauce, nutritional yeast, olive oil, maple syrup, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a small bowl with a whisk to make the tofu sauce. Use a brush to cover all of the corn ears evenly with the tofu sauce. Put the corn on a grill that has already been heated up. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, turning it over every now and then, until it is soft and has a nice char. Brush the corn with more tofu sauce after taking it off the grill before serving. Add chopped cilantro on top and serve hot. Have fun with your tasty vegan corn on the cob with tofu sauce!
