Some random thoughts on my shipping tendencies. There’s always one rare pair, and then another super ultra shiny never gonna find it so don’t even bother looking rare pair.

“Thou shalt not steal, not even roses.”

The Set Up: Todoroki decides to raid a rose garden and Ibara catches him red rose handed. She’s all set to give him a righteous beatdown, but when he explains he wants to give them to his sick mother, she takes pity on him and lets him keep the roses.

The next day Todoroki wants to pay her back and offers to help in the garden. He won’t be able to use either of his powers, considering they’re so destructive to plant life, but he’s prepared to do a whole lot of manual labour. Ibara is hesitant at first, but seeing his sincerity she accepts his offer, and tells him he can start with turning over the compost heap.

I imagine that Todoroki would be all shy and awkward around Ibara, cause of the whole “double damage due to rules of Pokémon” thing. This also means he can’t rely on his powers to impress her. Cause Todoroki’s go to move when pressed is to freeze it solid or burn it with fire, but obviously he can’t do that, so he’ll have to think of other ways to grab her attention. Like making bread or something. The whole process would be very humbling.

Ibara, meanwhile, would be intrigued and curious about Todoroki, but would be hesitant to approach him because of his Big Hero reputation. And I’ve got this theory that whenever she gets embarrassed, her blush response is for her vines to spontaneously break out with flowers, so whenever she sees him she suddenly starts blooming like it’s sakuras in spring, and everyone at school wonders wtf is going on.
