I knew from the moment that they announced the field trip to the Auction House that things never go to plan. Some believed that it would be just a field trip but they haven’t been here as long as some of us have been, haven’t been through these kinds of events...they didn’t know.
I should have known better.
Hearing those slaves telling their stories of how they wound up there, some because losing their claim because of death and unable to find someone able to cope with their pain...then being thrown into the auction house. It made it all the more real that life is as a fragile as glass, it can shatter very quickly. But I have to think positive. I have to be strong for Sebastian. He deserves that. So does Ollie.
I’m not a shy person, I have no issue being naked but being forced the way we were to just being shoved into cells with minimal food and drink. It was as if we were slaves. They wanted to scare us straight, they’ve done it.
Hearing the music going, he gravitated towards the crowd to really see everyone in their costumes. Gently smiling as he noticed the Potion Making and headed that way to get to work himself. Approaching the table with the many ingredients to make a drink, he licked his lips “I usually only drink animals blood...maybe some alcohol will take the edge off”
