I get confused every time I watch "Anything You Can Do, I Can Do Better" because with the A-Troupe/J-Troupe mentor program Kate pairs up Emily and Richelle, James and Josh, Giselle and Becca, and West and Chad, and yet we see absolutely nothing of this last pairing. Did they have a whole storyline that got cut? Were they randomly thrown in at the last minute? Why were they even in the episode?
I still think one of the funniest things about Amanda’s double agent plot line is how easily she gives up the fact that she’s still at Elite. Like Kate asks why why she stole and the money and with absolutely no hesitation she goes “I’m still at Elite.”
She could’ve tried to lie or hold out even a little, but no just admits everything with no further questioning
Season 2: “Dancers perform hurt all the time. There must be something [the physiotherapist] can do to help her get through the final performance.”-Ms. Kate
Season 5: Kate fires Michelle and Emily for letting Richelle dance injured.
Even knowing it’s all fake, I still feel so bad for Amanda at the beginning of Season 2. She plays it so well.
