The masked man himself. Mysterious and menacing is his MO.
Raisa and… who’s this? (Watercolor and gouache)
A couple years ago I got discouraged and quit working on the Mask of the King, but luckily I am obsessed with these made up people in my head and so they are making a return entrance.

10th chapter coming out Thursday!! Read the whole comic here

Hey Guys, Read My Shitty Webcomic!!!
It's about friendship and love and fear and a million other things and it's based on a concept I came up with in highschool and it hasn't got a high budget, or any budget whatsoever really. It isn't monetizable or cookie cutter, the art is mediocre and the composition could use work but—I think you'll like it. It's the home cooked meal of webcomics. The recipe I followed was written on a torn piece of paper in ballpoint pen two decades ago, and I subbed out a lot of ingredients for stuff I had growing in my garden. I didn't have a food processor so I used my grandma's molcajete (please forgive me any lumps) and it took me about an hour to mix it up with a fork instead of an electric beater. But it came out quite good, I think, and I'd like to have you over to try it. It's not three-michelin stars and it's not got the predictable quality of a mcdouble burger (maybe next week I'll forget to set a timer and burn it horribly). But I had so much fun making it, and I don't think I can eat it all alone. I think it would be a waste not to let so many other people who might like it never see it at all. I don't have a fancy storefront or a million followers or any idea how to tell people about it, really. But you're invited to try it, and if you like it, invite your friends too.
When King Aleksie of Rekia announces his intent to select a bride from among the common people, farm-girl Raisa is among those chosen to tra
