“That, that right there, who is that?”

April followed Raph’s finger with her gaze, her eyes lighting up in recognition when she saw who he was pointing at.

“Oh, that’s Lisa. She’s a freshman, we share a photography class. She’s nice, I guess, but…”

“But what?” Raph demanded. April shrugged.

“I dunno, there’s something off about her. I can’t quite put my finger on it.”

Raph narrowed his eyes, glaring at the girl. She was just going about her business, counting her money to see how much she had left for shopping. Literally nothing suspicious about her at all.

Mikey gasped. “Ohmigosh… Raph, you think she’s cute!”

Raph startled, immediately beginning to sputter out protests. “What? No!! Of course not! She’s human!”

“Hey,” April defended.

“She’s human, I’m a mutant, it’s gross!” Raph elaborated.

“Mutants and humans dating is taboo, not illegal,” Casey commented casually, his eyes flicking over to Donnie.

“And it’s taboo for a reason!” Raph insisted. Mikey snickered. “What?!”

Mikey pointed over to Leo, who was standing there completely straight faced, his hands forming a heart as he made direct eye contact with Raph. Raph’s face went red.

“I despise you,” Raph growled.

And there’s going to be 10 seasons.

Yes. You heard me right.

Yesterday, my brain said “I think there’ll be six overall, that seems about right.” Then I started figuring out who the main enemies are and each arc, and it looked to be more. “Oh, so seven? Cool!”

Not cool. Not seven.

“Ohhh, 8 seasons. I can work with that, I can work with that…”

But shoving two enemies together in season seven did not work. I had to split them so one is in season 7 and the other is in 8. That left Shredder finale in season 9. And my autistic brain did not like that. 9 seasons feels unfinished. It feels uneven. It itches.

So I had to make a tenth. But I was all out of enemies. So I did the natural thing: Season 10 is not a comprehensive season. It is instead a compilation of all the shenanigans this family gets into after they finally find themselves. Season 10 is no longer Finding Eden. Season 10 is Eden. There’s even time skip in there, them as adults and settled into their lives. Their weddings, adoptions, spontaneous kidnappings of the alien species Mikey accidentally on purpose got to worship him as God. If I choose to make that one character trans, this is the arc it occurs in.

The plot has been plotted, and the plot is long.
