that one dude i drew yesterday with tmnt!swap doodles

"Can't you change it? Maybe separate them?"

"... no."

"Oh come on! They always get into trouble! I can't let them in my house!"

Karai appears over your shoulder, humming.

"I promise not to destroy your home. That would be dishonorable, and I am respectful of my friends... unlike some people."

"I heard that! And no one outdoes honor like Casey Jones! No one!"

"Shut UP, Casey!"

"Make me!"

You shoot the teacher a pleading look.

They pointedly ignore it.

Hissing through gritted teeth, you grab your bag and stomp out of the room, nerves frayed and taught as a sparking wire.

The ruckus follows behind you.

"So, are you always this quiet? I swear, you find the strangest little friends, Karai."

"They are refined and trustworthy. Much more than you and your team."

"I bet they like me more~"

"They despise you! As do I! I am their friend! They protected me against your brothers! They are a true ally!"

"Then why do they hide from you, hm~?"

The crack of a fist meeting bone is heard, followed by a ragged curse and pained groan. You cast the two a look, unimpressed.

Blood drips down Karai's fist, dark like syrup, while Casey holds his face, his nose crooked as he glares at the teen.

Grumbling, you tug out a pack of tissues from the side of your backpack, tossing it at the tall boy before shoving one towards Karai.

"No blood on the books; I am not explaining your crap to the teachers again."

The two accept it without much grumbling, instead glaring at each other.

You roll your eyes.

Pulling out your phone, you quickly look for your contact before pressing the call button. It barely rings for a second before it picks up.

"Cub, is everything alright? Do I need to pick you up? I just finished with gardening for the day."

"Hey, TC. I'm fine, but I might need a favor," you say uneasily. Shuffling is heard across the line, followed by a crackle of static.

"A favor? Is something wrong?"

"Um... you could say I have two... guests. And I really, really need some help for this project."

You don't want to know where you live. You don't want them inside your home. You don't want them in Tiger Claw's either, but he's assured you that if you need help with the ninja teens, that he's only a call away.

"I see... and this wouldn't happen to have anything to do with your last project?"

Thank God he understands.

"Yeah, uh, you could say this is a sequel, with twice the fun..."

He sighs.

"Okay, I'm on the way. Stay put."

"I owe you one, TC."

"Anything for you, cub."

Your shoulders relaxing, you end the call, feeling a bit better.

Someone leans over your shoulder, cooing.

"Aaawww, someone is scared of wittle ol' me~?"

It takes everything in your power not to punch the teen in the stomach.

Shooting him a deadpan stare, you shove him off. He cackles.

"Seriously, I don't get it. You're just so... so..."

"Boring? Unamusing? Perfectly normal and therefore not worth the trouble?"

Why can't they get the hint?

"You defend those in need and offer assistance to those who are hurt. You are a good person. Much more than this brat."

"Hey!"

As the two bicker, you close your eyes and let the warmth of the sun soak into your face. The heat is a soothing balm compared to the cold bite of the wind.

You notice when something sits down next to you on either side of the bench. You can feel twin stares digging into you.

"I think I'm starting to see what you see, Karai. They look kinda cute all relaxed~ I don't think I've ever seen them not be a grump."

"They are a dedicated student and need rest. So shut up."

And for once the loud teen does.

You can't wait for Tiger Claw to get here. Maybe this project can go smoothly...

Maybe these two won't be so bad...

I think since shredder does bake alot, Karai would have a bit of a sweet tooth. So I see her having some sweet tea when eating out. As for her favorite food I see her enjoying something savory every once in a while because of all the sweets she eats. I think she would enjoy something like takoyaki!

as for Baxter, I actually don't think he'd enjoy bubblier drinks like soda and such. I actually see him appreciating a cool glass of lemonade. As for food, I can see him enjoying some classic Jambalaya. i actually think he would like foods on the spicy side.

I think bebop is a bigggg fan of junk foods. like i think his fav drink would be a good old cola. specifically that cherry and vanilla twist flavor. As you could've guessed, his favorite food would most likely be a smash burger.

Rocksteady is someone i see as a very very bland guy. Like if he said his favorite drink was water I'd believe him. As for his favorite food...honestly i see him enjoying apples. Just apples. He definitely challenges bebop to spicy food eating competitions and he always loses because he cant handle the spice.

as for the shredder, I see him as a savory food kinda guy. He seems like the type of dude that bakes because A. it calms him down B. it makes his daughter happy. But like I was saying, his favorite drink being chamomile tea with a bit of honey doesn't seem too out of the ordinary. as for his favorite food I see it being something like udon, because it's easy to make, and maybeeeee he was able to enjoy it with his brother in the past.

speaking of food after successful missions the teens definitely go out to order something together to enjoy in the back alleys. like they send out Karai and Baxter with their full orders and just wait.

Maybe all the human teens/can pass as human teens go to the same highschool? Which can be quite tense and lead to some crazy moments. (This includes Reader). Two members of each teen team like the kid in the back of the class. They don't know why, but they do. So, naturally, they fight over them, like any territorial teenager who knows how to fight does.

Imagine Casey playing the knife game, a trick that Raph learned and that Mikey is NOT allowed to try, because he is too forgetful and has stabbed himself multiple times.

Bebop and Mikey in this AU are frenemies. They like each other and think the other is a chill dude... up until they fight each other at night, and then it gets awkward because your siblings are fighting and your mentors have a grudge and the both of you are caught in the middle of it. Also your older brothers are super overprotective of you. So they put a damper on your fun.

Karai and April or Karai and Casey having beef. They just can't stand each other. I don't know why, it just seems funny and good for drama if they ever have to team up.

Shredder has a frilly pink apron that was gifted to him by an elderly lady at the small market he frequents; he doesn't have the heart to get rid of it, and it tends to make his daughter smile so there is that.

Splinter is a proud papa; he is, however, a strict mentor and can be brutal.

Do you have any ideas, Dizzy? These are a few off the top of my head, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on them. Also, our cat Jack kept trying to steal my chicken wings. He then knocked over my drink. Jack did not get any chicken tonight. Maybe another day. He is a mischief maker, the little stinker.

hmmmm perhaps? though honest to god i see splinter homeschooling / hiring a tutor for the boys bc he trusts himself more than the school system.

i love it very very much when some of the villains are just chill with the main characters. like damn sorry bro i lowk gotta eviscerate you 😞. and yes, i very much see mikey being chill with bebop.

with that said i also love it when two of the characters just hate each other for ZERO reason. I see this happening with casey and Karai rather than her and april. This also brings up what karai's personality is gonna be like. Like yes the logical answer would probably be smth like 2012 karai, but if she was raised away from all the bloodshed and her father's hatred i don't think she'd act like that ngl

sigh shredder being a girl dad brings fills me with joy. I def imagine if a foot assassin breaks in he's had to box with the apron on lol

splinter brutally reprimanding one of the boys in training and later that night going to assure said boy that he still appreciates him (cannon event)

MY ideas??? um tbh im wondering if splinter is still as rat.... like it'd be cool to have him transform into a rat because of his own selfishness like how we ahd super shredder in 2012...tho it'd make for sense for him to have turned bc he touched the turtles when mutagen was still on em huh....

it might be better for bebop and rocksteady to have already graduated. like damn they really got mutated at the start of their lives 💔

as for what i drew, a put karai in just normal streetwear and or smth she'd wear to school. i also gave her these fuckass pigtails that look kinda wack so i'll probably be changing those. i also thought it'd be cool for the turtles to have masks similar to the ones they have in the Naruto crossover comic.

anddddd i know that April was supposed to have the fans but again, i think it'd be better suited for Karai. Especially since the fans given to april in '12 were actually meant for karai to begin with
