Really short on time, so no angst, this is really sad for me :(

Anyways, I decided to draw some little doodles of an old au I posted about called tmnc it's pretty much just the 03 turtles as cats lmao.

Mikey looks so sad in this drawing, curses to the low effort doodle. They all look so sad for no reason.

MIKEY MIKEY MIKEY MIKEY-

Time for my fellow ADHD turtle, MIKEY!! Mikey was the first turtle I could actually draw (because I used to draw chibis and they have similar heads) and I love his mystic stuff and he’s so FUN… but I was super busy over the weekend so I didn’t get to add as much stuff as I wanted to to the magma, but here’s what I did!!

Big one first: SIX! Mikey!!! I have. Created an entire AU in my mind. Based off Six The Musical (there is no shipping involved don’t worry) I decided to make him monochromatic like April, and if I manage to do the others I’ll make them monochrome too. If you wanna hear about it, ASK ME I WOULD LOVE TO TALK ABOUT IT :D :D :D

NEXT: @theartsybat (I’m pretty sure it was you?) did some VERY VERY nice pixel art of Donnie, so I added a l’il Mikey. They ended up also making a Mikey that looks much better than mine (the one with the pizza is theirs) but considering this is my first pixel art, I’m very happy with him!! Just… ignore his limbs…

Doodle time!! First one, someone added BIG DRAGON and people were adding their sona’s, so I put a little Hikari hanging on for dear life :) Then @silverishgoldpen started a little campfire… and Hikari set Paragon on fire. The girl yearns for arson, what can I tell you? Finally, @hotflatwaffle Made this beautiful, beautiful Dr. Delicate Touch comic… so I doodled a Leo. Hehehehe.

Okay, before I get to the collab page, I’m putting two of the drawing game things here: Orange and Cold Weather. A baby Mikey and Chibi Riku, respectively. And finally….

The TMNC. Teenage Mutant Ninja… Cats. And. This was supposed to be a joke. But then I made lore. I made designs. And so… uh… there’s a TMNC AU in my head now… Raph is a Maine Coon, Leo’s a Gray Tabby, Donnie’s a Siamese, and Mikey’s a ginger Devon Rex.

Ok, here’s the two collab drawings!! I added a little beta design CatMikey to the vending machine (whoever added all the shading, thank youuuuu) and full mutant CatMikey!! I had to go to sleep before I finished coloring him with shading and patterns and stuff, but he’s still a cutie pie and is SUPER excited to see a whole bunch of turtle versions of him :) I’ll post the full design sheet for all the turtles (cats) later… maybe. Hopefully.

So I wanted to adapt this scene into my au, because, yes. I feel like I did a decent job.

Aight so, I realized that I cant just assign their actual weapons to them, because well, they're cats. That would be super unpractical! It'd be like bringing a fork to a knife fight.

So due to cats wielding human weapons being useless, (and I can't give them just claws because they will be fighting human Ninjas with swords, that'd be to dangerous.) I gave some of them strap on weapons for their forepaw.

I gave this kind of weapon to Leo and Mikey.

I gave Leo sharp gauntlet things. They are a strap-on knife thingy, they are a sheet of curved metal with knives on the backside. Basically, the idea is that instead of ripping people apart with claws, he can run past them, and leave a deep wound before the person realizes what's happening.

The gauntlets were also inspired by shredder a bit.

The cats collective fighting style is very, quick, and evasive as possible. Because they are small cats, they are at a severe disadvantage.

So they try to finish the fight as quickly as possible, with minimal blows.

They use their small size to their advantage, and easily blend into shadows. (It also helps that they can hide in plain sight.) This allows them to get the jump on people, the element of surprise is usually on their side.

So I gave Mikey tonfa's, (I drew them wrong, so use your imagination.) I chose this weapons, because 1. They spin, And 2. They work well with the whole, strapped to the forepaw thing.

Overall I felt like this was a good fit for Mikey.

Do Donnie doesn't have a forepaw weapon yet, as in, I couldn't think of one that would suit him.

So instead I just gave him a bō staff, but smaller and easier to wield for a cat. I realized that I could still give him the bō because it isn't that heavy, and he could hold ig in his mouth, or maneuver it around with his paws and it would be a non-issue for the most part.

So Raph, I feel like he would be way bigger on the whole claws thing. Like if I gave him a special weapon, he would still use his claws and teeth for the most part.

But he can't just do that, because he's going up against humans with swords! So I gave him a minny sai, so he can use it improperly and stab with it to his little hearts content.

I also gave him a spiked cuff around his tail, I feel like he'd enjoy bashing people with it. And also a little wrist cuff with a spike on it.

All the cats have a little cuff with a spike on their tail, as an extra little weapon, but Raph actually uses his. So the cuff they wear on their tails, Raph wears on his forepaw.

Unlike the turtles, the cats don't usually wear their battle gear 24/7 they only wear it when going outside. (They often sneak out without it though.)
