B:  Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

There Must Be Something In The Water was inspired by my personal experience of working at a pool, but only in the sense that I wanted to write a pool AU. The actual storyline was not inspired by any of my real-life experiences. He Forgets Me, He Forgets Me Not was inspired by my grandmother having Alzheimer’s disease.

H:  How would you describe your style?

Oh this is a tough one. I try to focus a lot on internal dialogue and trying to give the reader an idea of a characters though process and how they’re feeling. So usually I spend more time writing that type of thing than I do describing a scene, or describing actions, etc. I have no idea if this is an answer to this question. I’m not even sure if I know what a “writing style” is lol I just want to make people sad most of the time.

K:  What’s the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?

Okay I started writing this, so it’s technically a wip, but I didn’t get very far, and I don’t know if I’ll ever finish. But basically it’s an historical AU set in a time when homosexuality is illegal. Kurt is a tailor, Blaine is some kind of upper class person who is getting married to Rachel. Because being gay is illegal, neither Kurt nor Blaine are out as gay (they also don’t know each other). Rachel takes her dress and Blaine’s tux to Kurt to have them altered, and Blaine ends up meeting Kurt that way. They end up becoming friends (all three of them), Kurt and Blaine start a secret affair, Rachel finds out, and either she reports them or someone else that she tells about it reports them. Kurt is arrested and Blaine’s family manages to get him out of it because they’re wealthy and have a lot of influence. Also a possibility that homosexuality is punishable by death and Kurt gets the death penalty, but I’m undecided on that one.

I don’t know if I’ll ever write it though because I’m not really one for historical AUs, so while I love how angsty the idea is, I’m not sure if I could stay motivated long enough to write it the way I’d want to.
