#tma01

My TMA01 was marked and returned this evening - 92%, so overall I am very happy with the result.

Its always difficult pressing on with study and the next TMA when you just want to know how you performed in the TMA currently being marked – especially the first of any module.

I was penalised mostly for not including a ‘word count’ for the required questions as directed in: http://learn.open.ac.uk/mod/oucontent/view.php?id=643202,

My last 2 OU modules did not include this ‘word count’ requirement so I am guilty of not fully reading the TMA guidance for TU100 – thinking I had seen it all before.Clearly not - and it proves once again that you need to read EVERYTHING the OU throws your way.

I deliberately didn’t comment on the content TMA01 until now, both due to the nature of TMAs and the fact that wanted to see how it related to the study materials and module content.

Some content of TMA01 and especially TMA02 seemed slightly dire and unrelated, but then I remembered that TU100 is a Level 1 module so of course key study skills such as paraphrasing will be tested.
