I have created a new blog talking about my experiences as newly diagnosed with ADHD and as a mature student. This post is about the journey to enrolment.

This was fired at a low temperature, I like the result so far but I plan to refire this piece at a higher temperature to hopefully get a different appearance with the glazes melting into each other.

I also used a macro lense in the photography studio with Tutor Paul Tarpey to take some of these images.

I have quite a good few of macro images taken which gives me options when editing and choosing how I could use them in various settings , e.g.; in a background or a display

Helen Beard is one of many inspirational artists working with Clay. As part of our Clay + Narrative of the senses project I researched helens work to inspire my own ideas.

I continue to explore how I want to display the sense of SIGHT/VISUAL sense of Spices into ceramics.

Continuing to work with my swatches I progressed to working on the clothing mannequins.

I continued to place my swatches on the mannequin on Thursday. I have taken inspiration as a result of seeing them in place and visualising a final piece.

In the first week of the ceramics elective we first created schematic type mark making using black ink on white paper by using any implement available to use as a mark making tool.

I used a feather, sponges, a piece of string, a bamboo sticks, a pipette, a syringe and a collection of plastic and soft materials wrapped tightly together.

We then made 3 viewfinders of different sizes which we used to select sections from our mark making sheets which we translated into white paper to recreate the shape within a square box template.
