We're sorry skeletons, you're so misunderstood You only want to socialize, but I don't think we should 

Today was round one of cycle #7 and my overall 12th round of chemotherapy to fight this non-curable, stage 4, metastatic pancreatic cancer. Due to increased neuropathy (numbness and tingling in my hands and feet) the doctors reduced the Abraxine dosage by half to see if that improves the neuropathy. The numbness and tingling in my fingers has been annoying mostly because it’s been keeping me from being able to hold a pen, pencil, paintbrush, or anything, with out dropping it. It is also hard to control it since sometimes there’s no feeling in my fingers, or because the tingling is kind of painful since it feels like little pinpricks when something touches my skin. Im hopeful that reducing the dosage helps, but it also makes me nervous to reduce a drug that is helping to keep the cancer from spreading or growing. But I trust my doctors since they are amazing and if we need to slowly increase the dose back up, then we will. We also are trying some new pain management hoping to get the pain more under control for longer periods since that has been an issue the last week. Hopefully post chemo is good this week so I can enjoy the very eventful weekend and then that next week chemo goes session also goes well so I can enjoy Thanksgiving with family and friends! Also, isn’t my blanket amazing?! Here’s my #Inktober2022 setup as well as a few #inktober pieces that I haven’t shared yet. It’s not as crazy as past years since I really reduced the materials I was using this year to help challenge myself and haven’t spent a lot of time at my desk. I was going to use all the supplies from my first ever @artsnacks Inktober box, but life had another plan. I haven’t had a whole lot of energy and chemo fevers make things harder to stay on top of things so I’ve just been doing my best at getting drawings done when I can and most of them have been done on the road, or in the hospital until recently. I’m hoping to be able to use this setup for a little bit, but in all honesty, it will probably move to my bed. Lol. But I can’t wait for my week off chemo to hopefully have more energy to get more drawings done and eventually use more supplies from my #artsnacks boxes!
