At a time when Palestinian voices are becoming erased and buried, its important to uplift and support the only Palestinian USAmerican Congress Person, Rashida Tlaib. Rashida Tlaib has been a tireless ally, advocate, and supporter of Queer People, Trans People, Nonbinary People, and Palestinians. Rashida Tlaib is one of the few good people in Congress. Rashida Tlaib has stood-up to bullies both on the Left and on the Right. We should all strive to have her strength and courage.

Criticizing Israel’s government is fine, but not supporting any existence of Israel at all is antisemitic. The Jewish people originate from Israel and deserve to be able to live in the country, just as Palestinians deserve to have a free Palestine and live there in peace. Jews are an indigenous middle eastern minority who were violently expelled from Israel a long time ago and have been persecuted everywhere else since. I’m so tired of people not learning Jewish history in the region when discussing this and erasing Jews’ origins. The “Squad” is outspoken against the Israeli government, but unfortunately unfairly singles it out at times when other countries’ governments are doing the same shit. I’ve lost faith in the squad to not dip into antisemitism unfortunately. Jews are a tiny minority, and our voices are drowned out by many who don’t know our history
