I'm fed up with the fact that this game company will literally do EVERYTHING ELSE than sell merchandise of their ACTUAL GAME CHARACTERS.

Nobody gives a shit about the boring collab clothes with no personality and only text on them.

My question is, how do they fuck up capitalism so bad? Like, selling acrylic stands of the guys, charms, prints etc. would bring them so much money they could ditch the shitty AI altogether AND keep the fans happy.

Jfc, I'm not paying a shitton of money for dias for cards and then later a plain t-shirt to get a random tiny acrylic stand of a random character as a "bonus".

It's another COLLECTION LIMITED GIFT, meaning you have to spend shittons of money on basic clothing with boring house name text on it JUST TO GET A BLIND ACRYLIC STAND. YOU DON'T EVEN GET TO CHOOSE THE GUY.

I'm livid.

How fucking hard is it to just SELL THE THINGS?? Now if I want one I have to pay an arm and a leg for a proxy to get one for me from someone in Japan who's marked the stand with an insane resell price, PLUS shipping.

Luckily my husband Zenji isn't super popular with Japanese fans so he'll be more present in auctions and with second hand sellers, but imagine if I'd like my other boys like Haku or Jiro? They're so goddamn popular just the metal pins can go close to 60€ BEFORE proxy and shipping.

Being the avid "PLEASE LET US BUY CHARACTER MERCH FFS" guy that I am, I of course checked if our Japanese fellow fans had already bought the new Didara Bocchi collection items to get their blind acrylic stands and if they're already selling the ones they don't want.

And they are.

It didn't really surprise me that the prices are again horrible for very popular characters. The cheapest Haku, Jin and Jiro I've seen go for 9000-12200¥ or like 60-80€ a piece.

I get it, you gotta buy at least 5000¥ worth of boring clothing to get a BLINDBAG of a random stand, so I bet they're just trying to get their money back to gamble again.

BUT! The more unpopular characters? They go for very realistic prices! My husband Zenji for example would set me back only 16€ if I lived in japan!!

Unfortunately... that's before a proxy service fee, shipping and customs. So even the cheapest acrylic stands would cost a European like me about 50€ or so.

Guys we're fucked. 🫠
