The story of this video

I was on Facebook one day and saw that a follower from instagram that I added on there had lost his mother.. I sent him a message to tell me how sorry I was to hear that...

He then thanked me and said that he played some of my bass music for her on her last day, as they talked often about music, and he thanked me for that..

Honestly... I cannot describe just how much that meant to me.

Of course I was then in tears after reading that. I was so so so touched.. couldn’t believe it.. what an honour.. I had absolutely no no idea. So I recorded part of the second movement of the Ibert flute concerto on the bass flute, thinking about both of them.. and created this video in her memory.

so a composer has decided to use a few multiphonics in his piece and here is just a funny video of me trying it for the first time on the bass flute! :D
