Baseball fan

Before going to Pam and John's place for our lunch party last July 15, I passed by the grocery store to buy the ingredients for sinigang. Upon arriving at their place, I immediately went on cooking because it would usually take me 2 hours to let the meat cook well - soft and flaky. To speed it up, we used the pressure cooker but the soup kept on spilling out!!! So I had to go out again and buy more tamarind base. *argh!*. I think it was well worth the effort. Very delicious and went well with Pam's japchae. Looove the japchae noodles! *yum!* Jean brought frozen brazo de mercedes and we had it with tea. *double yum!*  

While waiting for the food to cook, I attached Vandal to their "guest wall" - artist guests can doodle on the wall by the stairs - and took a photo of Vandal at the Dr. Seuss house drawn by Pam (I think). The smoke was added by Leslie. I imagined Vandal being spewed out of the house by the smoke - just like the water spilling out of the pressure cooker and me having to go out because of this. *gaaaah!* 

I love the contrast of colors and texture! I also like seeing the gap-toothed smile of Vandal. Like he knows he did something bad in the house that's why he's being ejected. haha!
