These creatures are the clicking, clacking hordes of whatever hive King Disco is from, though they are in fact slightly larger than King Disco, proving once and for all that King Ants truly are the manlets of the arthropod kingdom. (Though Kerry Crown will be very annoyed if you say that in front of her)

Their abilities are significantly simpler though, as a whole, mainly their superformic strength for their still-small-for-kaiju size, their speed, their formic-acid jaws and that anthill on their back. Though, that anthill is nothin to scoff at, considering it contains a repository of those same micro-ants building "Bug Island" and they can do some terrifying things to infrastructure, millitary hardware and kaiju skin alike.

Though, this can often be a curse, given how if you break the hill, they will retreat, presumably to re-assemble what seems to be their primary "ace," with only slightly more durability than King Disco without it..

While they do not attack in faceless swarms, there are multiple individuals of this type, hence the plural naming, between single and double digits are estimated as to the current amount on the surface.

Notable identified individuals include "Scar," known for a seemingly greater pain tolerance/damage resistance, with a huge gash in her carapace befitting her name, "Spike" who has the addition of formic acid-dripping spines along her back, "Slice" a creature with greater than average jaws and a tendency to go for major blood vessels on kaiju even when unecessary or ill-advised, "Shine" who glows with a mysterious; toxic light and has a... strange and "Senz," who seems curiously amicable to humans as long as they do not interfere with its operations.

Said operations, on the whole, seem to be "Acquire more materials for Bug Island" and "Defend Bug Island," though this is still quite troubling for many, especially given the implications that these are simply the foot-soldiers...

Gotta have giant ants in your giant insect stuff! It's the law! And it makes sense to center them if you know what fucking terrors ants are IRL in the ecosystem. Also, yes I know the eyes are nowhere near accurate to real ants, that was intentional as a homage to Them!
