Company of the Past || Glint & Titas
After one full hour of waiting around in the snow, Glint became restless. The cold was getting to him and there was still no sign of life from the nearby shack. He debated kicking the wall to lure something out, but then decided against it. His invisibility might just be what he needed at the moment, as he was quite positive that at least one tribute had escaped into the shack. An hour had been enough for him to recall seeing a flock of blond hair dash inside. Whoever was in there could just be a harmless tribute, but the shack was most likely not. Even a clumsy nobody from the outline could become dangerous with the help of Capitol supplies.
It was all down to his decision. Knowing he could not stay there any longer, he decided to venture the Arena. Looking around, there were about three options. The shack had been crossed off the list. The forest provided shelter but looked like the perfect habitat of mutts. Then there was the hill, an open space of nothingness which seemed to have been rid of tributes. Glint decided to head there. Though there was not anyone in sight, he trod the ground carefully and held his spear tight. The rest of the Arena became clear as soon as he reached the top of the hill. On the other side was some sort of a town with lights flickering from the houses. There was no doubt that some of them were already occupied. He tried to move as silently as he could past the first building then the second. On his way to the third, however, he spotted a figure standing not too far away. Glint would hate to have to fight another career so early in the games, so he held his ground, ready to defend himself, but without the intention to attack.
"Well, well, well," he said with a smirk as he took another step to get a clearer view of Titas. "Fancy seeing you here."
