My First Blog Ever - The Sari Look
After a lot of pondering over the idea of blog writing, finally i decided to start my own blog on fashion and lifestyle and that's how I even came up with the name GalWhoDoesItAll. Here comes my first blog for you lovely people which is about the sari look.
This saree is 23 yrs old which was a gift to my motherfrom her sis.I had been waiting for my mum to pass it on to me and yesssss...i finally got it from her..
It took me a couple of days to bring together the entire look which i would be discussing further below.
As seen in the photo/ picture, the saree is made of tissue with sky blue as its base colour and pretty white cloured small flowers. It is quite transparent, so to get the cloth to be worn under the sari had to be chosen very wisely...
For the blouse i went for a satin silk chique material which is available at a local market in andheri for INR 150 per meter and got a pretty sleeveless blouse stitched from a local tailor in Thane for INR 350 (I know that’s a steal)...
With all the arrangements done right, finally the day arrived when i decided to drape the saree to office...below are some of the looks from the day...
I paired the saree with a pearl set (neck peiece and ear studs) that I got from Hyderabad (City of pearls) long long time back.
The black heels are from Bata and the most comfortable ones that I have ever had in my life. These black ones are just the perfect ones that you can actually wear and walk for the entire day(yipeee).
I had let my hair loose to complete the look and have a messy look to the entire . However, you one can even tie the hair up in a small messy bun to keep your hair in control when you are at work.
I did the entire look for an office going day. However, its such a comfy style that you could put up the entire look for an evening party/get together OR summer night parties OR Page 3 parties as well (as the look and feel is so classy)
Here is the final look (good one i must say :-P)..enjoy the pics...dont forget to hit if you loved the post...spread love...see you untill my next write up is ready for you all life loving people.
