As always, she's driving me crazy.
Tv volume is at 30, which is 2x higher than anyone not already HoH needs. I've started using earplugs to be in the room with her.
Now she's ranting about having to take her pain meds... yes, when you have neuropathy & square dance 2-3x a week & insist on doing your own gardening & your own housework, that's going to cause your legs to hurt & you DEFINITELY WILL need to take your pain meds.
If you want to cut out some of the meds, you must cancel out some of the activities. Your pick.
Also, my niece graduated HS today... she lives far away & panini means we couldn't be there, but we watched the live stream.
She's trying to text the granddaughter & struggling because she can't make the phone type "aunt Robin" - maybe her phone knows that the kids don't call me that. They never have. I sign things Aunt Robin, but that's as much as it gets used. Stop insisting. If I, the actual aunt in question, do not care to insist on my title, wtf should you?!? It's weird.
She actually asked if they know I'm their aunt!
I'm their mom's little sister & one is about to go to high school, the other is headed to uni for nursing school... I think they know without calling me "Aunt." I swear, the first thing that popped in my mind was the people who think if we take down the Confederate statues nobody will know the confederacy was there. Textbooks exist, museums exist, oral history exists. We will tell them. (We'll also say that they were so shitty we had to take down the statues because we didn't want anyone to think they were praise worthy.)
