“I hate you.”
The argument had been over- hell, Nemuri was too angry to even remember what it had been about. More than likely their busy schedules and such, which were taking up most of their weeks. All week they had their teaching jobs, and then dorm supervising rotations. On top of that, there were their patrol schedules, and whatever else took up their time. It was stressful, and lately they’d barely had time to even talk. Nemuri would see him in the hall at school many times, but one of them was always just too busy.
If she had to take a guess, Nemuri would say that the stress had brought it on. It was finally someone else’s turn to supervise 1-A’s dorm, they were free of hero duties for the night, and papers could always be graded at a later time. They’d agreed not to talk about anything work related, but somehow it’d come up, leading to the argument and uncovered other flaws in the relationship. The worst thing was that they both had quite the tempers, which made Nemuri feel a bit bad for her neighbors. The words that had left her mouth were bitter and foul once she’d said them, yet her mouth stopped as soon as he had.
She didn’t care that he’d frozen. Nemuri said the phrase quite often, usually playful, but sometimes it held some meaning. However she’d never used it as a weapon as she just had. At the sight of him leaving, Nemuri shouldn’t have stopped him, but she remembered what they’d agreed on back in highschool. Back when they were only friends, they’d promised to never leave one another mad, and like hell would Nemuri Kayama break a promise. No matter how angry she was with him, and herself. “Aizawa..stay.” She told him, moving across the room to grab his wrist.
