A new cook book – vegan and vegetarian recipes only – for students. I showed it to my colleagues in school and all of them want one immediately. 🙂 It was not easy for me to choose a cake recipe. Banana bread it was. Hmmmm, yummy! No wonder when the oldest and a very famous vegetarian Swiss restaurant was involved in the making.

Tiptopf goes Vegetarian: Tiptopf is by far the best known and most sold teaching material in Switzerland. However, since its conception 30 years ago, a lot of the eating habits of people living in Switzerland have changed, while the recipes in the book stayed more or less the same. To address this, a school class from Thurgau confronted Tiptopf with the idea of a cookbook for schools that only features recipes without meat and that gives extra tips on other alternative eating habits, intolerances or allergies. The “Greentopf” is expected to be available in 2019
