Tips for Success #2: Get Up Before Everyone Else Does
Not a morning person? Me neither, however, develop some self control and grit, and do it anyways! Get up at least four to five hours before leaving the house, if you have a later day, get up at 5am.
According to a few online articles, early risers tend to be more successful, since they take advantage of the quiet hours in the morning before everyone else is up to get some quality work done without distractions, and some tend to get to work or school early to avoid traffic. On that note, early risers tend to be better planners, for figuring out their time frames that produce the best results and time spent.
Personally, I use the extra time in the mornings to avoid traffic by leaving about three to four times earlier then I have to. Mainly so that if for some reason I ever forget something at home and had a question to ask a professor before class, I had time to do both and still be able to find a parking spot!
Also, this trick allows me to be fully awake by the time class starts, work on a few assignments, and to study without distractions.
